Global Warming compared to Pot of Water

I want to try and portray Global Warming and Climate Alarmism as something we all relate to. To do this I'm going to ask you to visualize boiling a pot of water on your stove like most of us do regularly. Now include whether to cover that pot or not.... as a way to make the water boil faster.

     We can then equate the Cover or Not to Cover debate to the increased CO2 or Greenhouse effect/Global Warming  Now at first, there are claims of how much increased warming the Cover or CO2 will have, we'll call those computer models, and then as time goes on and we have a history of real-time measurement and find out the predictions all ran too hot.

In the end, it turns out that Yes the cover/greenhouse effect does increase how quickly the water boils but.... the amount is very minimal.

Yet the Alarmists and authoritarianism break out with and rules to dictate your life get proposed and passed.

Then someone stands up and says

"You know that pot was going to boil anyways, right?"
