Was Bottled Water the Biggest Scam of All Time?

The whole double whammy of Billions upon Billions of plastic bottles of water being sold around the world makes me think of 2 evil, rich con men competing to create the bigger scam.

Think of people who would advertise “Large Capacity Solar Dryer” On SALE just $99- and then mail you a piece of rope, AKA, A Clothesline.

The first one says: I’m going to go to my kitchen faucet and pour water into my old soda bottles, re-cap them, and instead of the nickel refund for returning them… I’ll sell them for 50 cents each. Bottled water for 50 cents!

The second con man bewilders at his friend’s idea to sell tap water to people at a profit. Says well if you’re going to screw people over like that you might as well use plastic bottles and pollute the whole planet.

Then start a recycling company having the people collect up all the plastic bottles…then they pay you to “recycle” them…. but you just bring them to another city’s dump!

So yeah…. When you think about it. It does seem like we did fall for at least 2 scams with this one.
